Our role is focused on raising and maintaining high levels of achievement for Minority Ethnic and Bilingual children and young people by: - Providing a range of generic and bespoke training opportunities (please see Training & Development & CPD Online)
- Advising and supporting the school improvement agenda in partnership and collaboration with other agencies within the LCTBs
- Facilitating School Improvement Groups (SIG) with SLT teams and local networks with Designated Teachers to disseminate good practice
- Advising schools in their self evaluation and post Ofsted planning
- Supporting and modelling learning in the classroom
- Leading on projects to build capacity and link schools (School Linking Network)
- Supporting and contributing to the Common Assessment Framework process
- Supporting schools to improve access to education and raise the achievement of the most vulnerable Refugee and Traveller children
