Global Links

Over the years we have developed Links with many countries and cultures across the globe. Through the Teachers International Development Programmes, relationships have been forged with educationalists in Virginia USA, Beijing in China and Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa. The EU Commission project INTERREG 3a Link:Ed has continued to develop the strong relationship between Kent and Nord-Pas de Calais, France. Strong links are continually being created through the exchange of best practice, pedagogical methods and the overall cultural experience of visiting another country. For many years now the unit has welcomed delegates from all continents around the globe visiting Kent for educational purposes. We have participated in reciprocal visits to our partners and also to countries that were previously unexplored by Kent educationalists, forming a Global Network of international links and friendship. This map will give you a brief outline of some of our strongest links around the globe.
