One of the many funding opportunities available to schools is the Comenius programme. Comenius provides funding for school partnerships, professional development, language learning, mobility and hosting an intending teacher as an assistant at no cost to your school.

Spanish immersion courses in Spain are available for UK Primary School Teachers in May and June 2008. Spanish in Spain is offering 12 residential programmes (Sunday-Friday) over the coming summer half-term period.

NEWS FLASH!!!!!! DECEMBER 2007
After two and a half years of project activities the INTERREG IIIa project Link:Ed is coming to an end on the 31st December 2007.The project finished with a flourish of activity in the last two months of 2007:
- Two professional development study visits to France.
- An exhibition display stand at the Secondary Headteachers Conference in Maidstone.
- A Student Vocational Visit to France to view Motor Vehicle Mechanics.
Watch out for the Special Edition InterActive Newsletter that will give you a run down of the project and a few tips on best practice. This will be sent out to schools and participants at the beginning of January 2008.
