The scheme is designed to make travel easier and more affordable for young people, and to encourage the use of the public transport network in the longer term. By having the freedom to travel on any public bus service people will become less reliant on private cars, reducing traffic congestion at peak times and reducing social exclusion by allowing travel at evenings and weekends.

Students will be able to collect application forms from schools throughout the year as there is no closing date. Processed passes will be delivered back to schools and the student will sign for it as an added security measure.
We will make application forms and posters available at appropriate times. We ask that students apply early to avoid disappointment.
Behaviour
Each school and their Travel Co-ordinator will have a copy of the KFP Code of Conduct. This covers what to do when there are instances of unacceptable behaviour.
With this in mind, a Behaviour Action Plan is currently being developed, and details of this will be available in due course.
