The financial packages available for 2007/08 continue to meet the requirements of Consistent Financial Reporting (CFR) and Best Value, with additional flexibility to suit your needs.

The purpose of this service is to support schools with a range of finance packages and 'Pay As You Use’ services tailored to meet school needs. These services are provided by professional, trained people with significant experience of the education sector.

The team members work with headteachers, governors, bursars and finance officers to ensure high quality financial management. The packages have been enhanced to meet the school's financial requirements and support Best Value statements. Our aim is to contribute to schools' improvement through:

• Effective financial systems.
• Advice, support and training for school staff.
• Making budgetary and financial control and financial planning as easy as possible.
• Ensuring the service provided meets the school needs.
