Winged sandals - A fantastic site for supporting the teaching of myths and legends. Character profiles and cartoon animations of famous myths and legends.

Barbican - Can I have a word - Resources for teaching poetry and descriptive writing in KS2. Poet profiles and audio files of real poets (e.g. Michael Rosen) reading their poems aloud. Also includes visual stimuli for generating ideas for poetry writing.

Problem pictures - Bring mathematics to life with photographs. Striking photographs are combined with original questions and problems to challenge students at all levels. Only a few are free, then you have to pay.
