Understanding Your Child

This course is coming back due to popular demand!

It is an interesting and informative 8 week course which covers topics such as:
* Understanding your child's behaviour
* Parent and child relationships - having fun together
* Strategies for when things go wrong
* To increase confidence and self-esteem in parent and child
 

There will be a creche provided for parents registered with the children's centre but spaces are limited so please ensure you let us know as soon as possible if your child/ren need a place.

Adult English and Maths Classes are offered at the centre -

KCollege are bringing back maths and English classes to the children's centre.

The courses are brilliant if you want to brush up on your English or Maths skills or work towards gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

They are free and a creche is provided for families registered with the children's centre.

Free Child Care

Did you know that there are now free childcare places for children aged 2 year 6 months.

You can be entitled to up to 15 hours per week!

HERO Project
(Housing, Energy, Retaining, Options)

The Council's HERO Project offers pratical advice and guidance on a range of options to help you plan your future housing and career and to better manage your finances.

You can talk to our trained HERO Officer Mike Williams,
free of charge and on a one-to-one basis about:

Housing problems, saving money on fuel bills, debt or mortgage advice, welfare benefits, retraining or further education options, getting back to work or advice on starting your own business!
