Seashells Mission Statement

We work to strengthen families and the local community by providing:

  • Quality play, learning and childcare
  • Healthcare services, including advice about child health and development
  • Support for children with additional needs, including access to specialist services
  • Advice and information, including counseling and benefits advice
 

 

We provide childcare, health, family and support services for children under 5 and their families, all in a supportive, understanding and positive environment.

 

Every month we produce a newsletter  and deliver it to families living in Sheerness with a child under 5 years.  The newsletter contains information & guidance, news on past or forthcoming events and an activities calendar.  Register to receive your free copy; call into Seashells to complete the registration form.

 Children's Centre team

We offer a wide range of services to all expectant parents, children under 5 and their families in Sheerness.  We work in partnership with parents, other local groups and agencies for the benefit of families and their young children. 

Our experienced staff cover a wide range of disciplines so that all young children and their families can get the help and support they need.

A Steering Group oversee the programme and includes parents and staff representing Social Services, Health, Education, Swale Borough Council, and the voluntary sector.
