Welcome to our Under One Roof Children’s Centre website where you can discover more about the activities, services and information we offer.
We are here to work with all local families with children aged to five years by providing information, advice and services so that children have the best chance of a good start in life.
We work with partners to provide most of the services that pre-school aged children and their families need at one place and in an environment that is family-friendly and with well trained staff that can assist families with the range of their needs. These services include:
- Family Health Services including twice weekly health clinics, health visiting services, midwifery services and baby massage sessions
- Early Years Services including on-site assistance with your child’s speech and language development, crèche, support to find high quality childcare and specialist support for children with additional needs
- Employment and Training Services including help for parents with returning to work, weekly adult education classes and support for volunteering, including through our Parents Forum and Children’s Centre steering committee
- Family Support Services including paediatric first aid courses, twice weekly parent drop-ins, fortnightly dads groups and parenting programmes.
