Nursery
The Castle Hill Village Nursery operates within the Children’s Centre and is run by Castle Hill CP School. The Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8am – 6pm (excluding bank holidays).
The Nursery takes children from the ages of 3 months up to 5 years. There are purpose built areas for babies, toddlers and pre school children. All age groups benefit from access to a secure outdoor play area and modern, well equipped facilities.
Please visit Castle Hill website for more detailed information.
Crèche
The Village Crèche has been established and registered with Ofsted to provide
childcare for children from the ages of 3 months to 5 years. The crèche can provide for a maximum of 12 children per session and each session lasts between 1½ – 2 hours. The crèche provides a safe, caring, fun and stimulating environment for your children, run by professional and highly qualified staff. There is no charge for your child to attend the crèche.
Who can use the Crèche?
The crèche provides childcare for parents who are taking part in groups or training at the Village. Crèche places need to be booked in advance and are available on a first come first served basis. Please see our calendar of events to check whether a course or group has a crèche provided (please note not all groups have a crèche).
Childminding
We work in partnership with local childminders and the NCMA. The NCMA can offer advice and support for local childminders and information for parents seeking a childminder. For further information, please see the NCMA website.
The Childminding Development Worker for this area is Gwenderlyne Southall. She can be contacted on 01303 264145 or by email.
